Barry Bowen was told that coffee couldn’t be grown in Gallon Jug because at 117m above sea level, it was not the right terrain nor mountainous enough. It was also too remote. Barry’s first coffee planting trial in 1988 proved that through perseverance and lots of learnings, anything was possible. GJA now produces a great tasting coffee. Our coffee is the perfect blend of Arabica and Robusta coffee beans. It is shade grown and hand harvested by our local farmers. The beans are then transported, separated, dried, and finally roasted to perfection.
